The present books outcome of empirical study conducted for the doctoral work on the life situations, life problems and life chances of these children operating in the city of Gulbarga. Sharanabasavaraj est titulaire d'une maîtrise en travail social, d'un doctorat en travail social de l'université de Gulbarga, à Kalaburagi. Il est actuellement membre du corps enseignant du département d'études et de recherche en travail social de l'université féminine Akkamahadevi de Vijayapura, dans l'État du Karnataka (Inde). Il est l'auteur de 6 articles de recherche.
