Bob McDill is a retired songwriter and working author who lives in Nashville Tennessee. During his music career he received numerous awards including four Grammy nominations and ASCAP's Golden Note Award for his "extraordinary place in American popular music." As an author he has written numerous articles and stories for national publications. He has always had a steadfast interest in the histories of America and the British Isles.
