Alex Irvine’s original fiction, including BUYOUT, A SCATTERING OF JADES, and ANTHROPOCENE RAG, has won numerous awards, hit best-seller lists and been translated into more than a dozen languages. He has created licensed and transmedia work in the universes of Marvel, DC, Transformers, Halo, Supernatural, Sleepy Hollow, Pacific Rim, Deus Ex, and other prominent IP. He has written several games for Marvel and other studios, and done story development on game projects for Blizzard, Amazon, and Ubisoft. Among his nonfiction and reference works are THE VERTIGO ENCYCLOPEDIA, DC COMICS YEAR BY YEAR, and THE COMIC BOOK STORY OF BASEBALL. He lives in Maine.
