The loss of a loved one is difficult for everyone, and perhaps especially for children. In this story, a young boy wakes up with the blues. Nothing seems to be going right. When he goes to the kitchen, he finds a magical elf who asks why he is sad. The boy reveals that he has lost his grandfather and asks the elf for help. The elf admits that his magic cannot bring back someone who is gone, but he listens as the boy talks about his Grampa. With the help of the elf, the boy learns that his memories of those he loves are the greatest magic of all.
