Autorenporträt
John Steckley, Ph.D., taught for many years at Humber College. He is the author of dozens of books, including best-selling introductory sociology texts, a popular introduction to gibbons (the smallest of the great apes), and a biography of Canada's first Black female medical doctor. He and his wife Angelika live in Bolton, Ontario, together with a happy band of dogs, cats, and parrots.
