Optimism, or more specifically, positivity, has been the focus of attention in the world of health. This is a study of Positive Psychology. It is an attempt at understanding when and why late adolescents with this inclination lead a healthier life - both mentally and physically. I believe in a positive perspective, and through this research project, have attempted to show that people with a more optimistic disposition towards life have a lower risk for somatic problems, anxiety issues, sleeping problems, severe depression, and problems with social interactions. A world filled with negativity is desperately in need of a fresh view of life - one that can make a difference. And not just a small one.
