Née à Yaoundé, Rita Nzelle Njitone épouse Sume est titulaire d'une maîtrise en interprétation de l'École supérieure de traduction et d'interprétation (ASTI) de Buea et d'une maîtrise en anglais de l'université de Yaoundé I. Elle est également titulaire d'une licence en anglais et en français de l'université de Buea. Elle est passionnée par les langues et la communication.
