Harlan Platt is a professor of finance in the College of Business Administration at Northeastern University. He has published extensively on three areas related to bankruptcy and workouts: the development of early warning bankruptcy prediction models, the relationship between the economy and bankruptcy, and the yield and resilience of high-yield bonds. He is a member of the board of directors of the Prospect St. High Income Portfolio, which is on the New York Stock Exchange. In addition, he is the faculty dean for the Turnaround Management Association.
