Mary Steen, Professor of Midwifery and Discipline Lead at Curtin University and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Perth, Western Australia. Mary has been conducting research since 1992 across Europe, the UK, Australia, Nigeria, Brazil, Iran, the Emirates and Thailand with the aim to improve the care and services for women, babies and their families.
