Autorenporträt
Muzaffar Alam is George V. Bobrinsky Professor, The University of Chicago. His research focuses on Mughal political and institutional history, and the history of Indo-Islamic culture. Françoise 'Nalini' Delvoye is Directeur d'études emerita at the École Pratique des Hautes Études-PSL, Paris. She is a scholar of medieval and pre-modern Hindi literature and Indo-Persian culture. Marc Gaborieau is Honorary Directeur d'études at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales and Honorary Directeur de recherche at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Paris. Trained in Islamology and Indology, he specialises in the historical anthropology of Muslims in South Asia.
