Produktbeschreibung
This book analyzes the behavior of Cameroonian Internet users on Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok, highlighting the harmful impacts of these practices on society. The evolution of man, from homo sapiens sapiens to homo digitalis, is marked by distinct stages: from homo loquen (the man who speaks) to homo scriben (the man who writes), then to homo imago (the man of the visual), culminating in homo digitalis (the digital man). This passage marks a phase where responsibility (sapien) must guide digital publishing. The homo digitalis must balance creativity and responsibility in his online interactions. The book explores how Cameroonian Internet users, as homo digitalis, juggle the roles of loquen (communicator), scriben (writer), and imago (visual creator), often to the detriment of the principles of responsibility. Through concrete examples, he examines the societal implications of digital behavior and proposes recommendations for a more ethical and responsible use of social networks.
