United Middle School Mysteries, Book 11 by E. J. Rohly First, all the lunch trays disappear. Then the backpacks start sparkling. Sequins, glitter glue, mystery poems-United Middle School is under siege by sparkle. Confused students, suspicious teachers, and one very stressed principal are teetering on the edge of a full-blown glitter ban. It's up to Jake, Emily, Max, and Amy to track two mysteries at once: the missing trays and the exploding backpacks. With glitter trails, disguises, dramatic decoy backpacks, and the suspicious involvement of pranksters Chip and Mia, the young investigators uncover clues that point to something deeper than mischief-possibly even... kindness? But can they stop the sparkle storm before someone hot-glues pom-poms to the principal's chair?
Autorenporträt
About the Author E. J. Rohly grew up on a farm in rural Ohio, where her imagination had plenty of room to run wild. As a kid, she loved making up stories-especially when she babysat and could share her tales with the kids she watched. Sometimes, she even let them produce their own endings! Making up stories is still one of her favorite things to do. Esther went to school to learn more about teaching kids, and she became a preschool teacher, where she has spent years creating fun ways for little ones to learn and grow. As her family grew, she took literature classes to get better at writing, hoping to author her own books. Now, she is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and continues to learn new things through writing classes. Today, she is busy writing mysteries and adventures to spark imagination, just like her own love of stories sparked years ago on her family's farm.
