Autorenporträt
Phillip B. Gonzales is a professor of sociology emeritus at the University of New Mexico. He has authored and edited several books, including Política: Nuevomexicanos and American Political Incorporation, 1821–1910 Renato Rosaldo is a professor emeritus of anthropology at Stanford University and New York University. A cultural anthropologist, he has worked and taught in Southeast Asian studies, symbolic anthropology, cultural studies, and Chicano studies. Mary Louise Pratt is the Olive H. Palmer Professor of Humanities at Stanford University (emerita) and the Silver Professor at New York University (emerita), where she taught in the Departments of Social and Cultural Analysis and Latin American and Iberian Studies.
