The Sillon de Benoud is a transition zone between two different major areas, namely the Saharan Platform to the south and the Saharan Atlas to the north. This sillon is separated from the Atlasic zones to the north by the South Atlasic Accident. This study focuses on the petrophysical characterisation of Lower Devonian reservoirs using petrophysical and statistical analysis techniques, and geostatistical modelling. The cores were analysed for the following parameters: porosity and permeability. A total of 428 samples were used. This characterisation shows that the Lower Devonian reservoirs are…mehr

This characterisation shows that the Lower Devonian reservoirs are of poor quality. Geostatistical modelling shows a relatively homogeneous structure between these two parameters.)
