In a city that never sleeps, the shadows never rest. The rain-slick streets glisten under flickering streetlamps, hiding secrets in every puddle. Somewhere between truth and lies, between love and betrayal, someone is watching...cold eyes fixed on their next move. When the past comes knocking, it's not always to make peace. And in a world where trust is as fragile as glass, survival means knowing who's behind you... and who's ahead. They say the streets remember everything. The question is....what will they remember about you?

Karabo Phumzile Phelembe, a 19-year-old writer from Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa, has nurtured a passion for writing books and poems from a young age. Her journey began in primary school when she would write poems for her Life Orientation teacher, who also coached her in chess, providing valuable feedback that fueled her growth as a writer. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Food Science and Technology at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, Karabo is a dedicated student with a strong academic focus. Born into a family of six, she brings a unique perspective to her writing, often drawing inspiration from her own experiences. While she finds it challenging to open up emotionally, her work serves as a creative outlet to express her innermost thoughts and feelings. Karabo describes herself as a beautiful individual with a healthy balance of confidence and self-awareness. Despite her insecurities, she embraces them as part of her journey. Above all, she considers herself the most creative person she knows, using her creativity to craft stories that resonate with authenticity and depth.
