EJ Clark-Sledge, a whimsical wordsmith, and member of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, brings joy and adventure to life from the heartland of Omaha, Nebraska. She shares her home with her loving husband, Ed, and their dynamic duo of Mini Australian Shepherds, Frankie and Sailor. EJ was born in Topeka, Kansas, went to grade school in Papillion, NE, junior high at Eielson AFB in Alaska and high school at Grissom AFB in Indiana. Her academic path led her to Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and she topped off her education by earning a master's at Bellevue University, in Nebraska. Growing up as a military kid, EJ had the privilege of traveling to many places, and her books are a testament to her globetrotting adventures. Inspired by her travels, she's transformed her experiences into magical tales for children, taking them on unforgettable journeys around the world. But there's more to her stories than meets the eye. EJ is passionate about adding a dash of education and fun to her books. Each adventure is not just a story but a learning experience. Hoping to teach a little geography of all the different places around the world to see and experience and added in a thrilling Search and Find page, she encourages young readers to develop memorization skills and an eye for detail while embarking on a delightful, fun-filled adventure.In EJ Clark-Sledge's world, the magic of storytelling and the wonders of exploration come together to create a whimsical, funny, and educational experience for children of all ages.
