Autorenporträt

Sadra is an urban designer and city planner passionate about stories told through graphics. Having experienced working in historic cities in the Middle East and Western modern cities, he has adopted a human experience centric approach to developing cities. He envisioned a world where city champions were granted the power to enact change and improve everyone's lives, as he was playing pretend with his niece and he started writing the Tales of the Urban Realm based on that first vision.

Uttara is an urban designer, policy planner, and design strategist with a passion for creating equitable, resilient spaces. Her experience across multiple geographies has honed her empathetic approach to design. Uttara enjoys bringing visions to life through branding and visual storytelling. When Sadra shared his idea for Tales of the Urban Realm, Uttara eagerly embraced the opportunity to create a children's graphic novel, with relatable characters and humorous graphicsa project she had long aspired to undertake.
