This a love letter to real life, however it shows up; an antidote to the highlight reel that is social media, a tribute to the unfinished, the unfiltered, the uncertain. In this debut collection of poetry, stories and questionable choices, Georgie Jones, with her signature wit and warmth, explores the exquisite messiness of modern existence and makes the chaos feel, somehow, like home. She can't promise any answers, but she can make you feel a little less alone in not having them.

Autorenporträt
Georgie Jones is a poet and performer known for her humour and heart. A Roundhouse Poetry Slam finalist and former Roundhouse Resident Artist, her debut spoken-word show Ish, commissioned by Midlands venues and supported by Arts Council England, sold out its preview tour to critical acclaim. When the pandemic paused live touring, Georgie turned to social media, where her poetry has reached over 160,000 followers and 6.8 million views. Her work has been shared by Malorie Blackman, Adrian Lester, and Bastille, who called it "f***ing brilliant" (their words, not ours).
