Alexandra Monz ist 1990 im Saarland geboren und lebt mit ihren beiden Hunden Luna und Hector in ihrem Heimatdorf. Wie die Protagonistin in ihrem Debütroman "Der Weg zurück zu mir", wusste sie lange nicht, wohin ihr Weg sie führen würde, bis sie die Liebe zum Schreiben für sich entdeckte. Neben der Schriftstellerei und ihrer Hauptberuflichen Tätigkeit ist die Autorin am liebsten mit ihren Radiergummi Nasen (Podencos) unterwegs, liest dicke Schmöker oder tanzt sprichwörtlich durch die Welt wenn sie ihrem Hobby, dem Standardtanz ihre Zeit widmet.
