Dr. Cheryl Carter is an educator, college professor, guidance counselor, and founder of Collegiate Learning and The Capable Scholar. She has dedicated her career to helping students succeed academically, especially through nontraditional and accelerated pathways to college credit.

Over the years, Dr. Carter has helped countless studentspublic, private, and homeschooledearn real college credits before graduation through innovative programs such as CLEP, DSST, dual enrollment, and online university partnerships. Many of her students have entered college with sophomore standing or even graduated high school with an associate degree in hand.

As a mother of special-needs twin boys, a homeschool parent, and a mentor to students nationwide, Dr. Carter combines professional expertise with personal experience. She believes deeply that education is not one-size-fits-all and that every child can succeed with the right plan and encouragement.

Her approach blends compassion, practicality, and visionshowing families how to save money, build confidence, and open doors to higher education. Through her books, workshops, and college-prep programs, Dr. Carter continues to help parents and students across the country turn possibility into achievement.
