About the Author

Steel Chambers was born and raised in Brooklyn, New Yorkhome of tough streets, good pizza, and his first true love: the refrigerator. As a self-proclaimed "fat kid with fast feet," Steel spent his early years battling bullies, enduring merciless playground nicknames, and mastering the art of sneaking midnight snacks. But instead of staying down, he decided to rise upliterally.

At 15, Steel began his transformation. Armed with a new attitude, a beat-up set of weights, and a burning desire to prove everyone wrong, he changed his lifestyle. Throughout high school and into college, Steel dove deep into fitness and nutrition, eventually studying pharmacybecause if you're going to sculpt the perfect physique, you might as well learn the science behind it too.

While in college, he competed in bodybuilding and powerlifting for fun (and a few ego boosts). Legendary NYC bodybuilding promoter George Payne even said he reminded him of a young Arnold Schwarzeneggerand yes, Steel has held onto that compliment for dear life ever since.

Steel's knowledge expanded while working under a forward-thinking pharmacist in New York City, where he learned the power of nutrition and alternative wellnessmany of which are shared in this book. But his journey didn't end there.

After moving to Miami, a chance meeting with a film producer led to an acting agent, which led to commercials, TV appearances, and eventually to Californiathe land of dreams, scripts, and overpriced green juice. There, Steel created his own superhero storyline, which earned him a spot on Stan Lee's "Who Wants to Be a Superhero" (Season 1). The exposure opened doors to more entertainment projects and unforgettable friendships along the way.

Today, Steel continues to live his passion by helping others achieve their fitness goalsincluding personal trainers who come to him for advice (he tries not to smirk when that happens). He's also a seasoned investor in film, TV, and entrepreneurial venturesand he's been on a spiritual journey for over 30 years, believing true strength comes not just from muscle, but from meaning.
