Ojo Blacke's survey of Mind and Reality, the final lecture series that would be conducted by Deusian Academy's most mysterious faculty alumnus, Monroe A. Dunlop, Dean of Paranormal Studies. This six-week series was meted out in incremental presentations discussing different aspects of a single theoretic theme, culminating in a whole new speculative approach to the study of the paranormal marked by a reversal of the objective and the subjective in order to understand the true metaphysical nature of physical reality and the subjectivity of space-time. Each lecture was presented every Friday during the early fall semester of 1966. The fascinating and perplexing ideas Dunlop displayed from the dais of the Alexander Tremont amphitheater were highlighted by inspirational genius and tortious delusion that climaxed in the sixth and final lecture with what appeared to be frightened concern hinging on dread. It was reported in the Weirskin Herald a week later that Dr. Dunlop had simply 'disappeared' from his beloved institution and respected campus, from his esteemed colleagues and adoring students, from his wife and family, friends and neighbors, from Weirskin, from everything and everyone he had ever known, never to be seen or heard from again.
