Sharon is a Registered Nurse with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as, her Master's in Divinity. She is also a Facilitator for Equine Experiential Learning and the Labyrinth Experience. She has proceeded step by step to emerge from the restrictions of her acquired brain injury (ABI), which profusely affected her life and shares these insights with others in her book, Falling Into The Rhythm of Life. Sharon has been interviewed by numerous newspapers, both locally and nationally, in the Scottish Times, The National, and she appeared on Australia's #1 breakfast show A-Channel News, BBC Radio Show and has been asked to speak at numerous events. She has presented her story in syndication at the Parkwood Hospital for hospitals throughout Ontario, spoke at the Canadian WHIA (Women's Horse Industry Association) and received resounding applause and a standing ovation for her story of courage and hope
