Produktbeschreibung
Finding True North: Changing the Habit of How We View God and Life" by Dino Griffin is a spiritual guidebook published in 2024, dedicated to the author's wife, Kristina Griffin. Spanning 254 pages, it serves as a "course correction" manual for Christians navigating life's journey, emphasizing the Bible as the unchanging "true north" amid societal shifts toward relativism and emotional guidance (likened to fluctuating magnetic north).

The book opens with an introduction quoting Oswald Chambers, illustrating how even a one-degree deviation in direction can lead to massive errors over time-mirroring spiritual drift. Dino urges believers to recalibrate their lives toward Scripture, rejecting cultural distractions and fostering Christlike character through habitual, declarative prayers.

Structured for practical use, it features ten paired sections: declarations (prayerful statements) and affirmations (supporting Scriptures). Topics include Repentance (confessing sins and embracing godly sorrow), Who I Am (identity in Christ), Personal Responsibility, Moving Forward, An Undivided Heart, Forgiving Others, Endurance, Vulnerability & Humility, Dependency on God, and Surrender. Readers are encouraged to read one declaration aloud twice daily and meditate on its Scriptures weekly, building new habits of thought patterns.

The second half offers 140 daily readings blending devotionals, prayers, reflections, and challenges to deepen faith and question beliefs. A closing treatise on "Praying and Meditating the Scripture" explains declarative prayer's value, even when spontaneous words fail, as a tool for remembrance and soul absorption.

Ultimately, Dino aims to lead readers to Jesus as eternal life (1 John 5:20), promoting obedience, humility, and intimacy with God. This isn't a one-time read but a lifelong resource for when faith feels stuck or weary, helping believers stay aligned with divine truth in a morally adrift world.

Stay aligned. Stay anchored. Stay true.

Together they are blessed with five grown children and eight grandchildren.
