Two men ...

One a family friend.

The other, a stranger.

Which one can she trust?

When wealthy hotelier, Max Corrigan, claims part ownership of The Folly, Jessica Flynn is not about to give in without a fight. Even if he is drop-dead gorgeous.

Following the unexplained death of her father, Jessica returns to The Folly, her home on Exmoor, to find the house neglected and a once thriving business on the verge of collapse. So why has Max Corrigan invested so much money in it? And who exactly is he?

Corrigan wants his investment repaid and until then he expects a say in the running of the business but Jessica has no intention of letting a stranger take over and determines to repay the debt. But to do that she needs help.

Who can she turn to? As she struggles to find a solution, the mystery deepens. She is no longer sure who she can trust, and finds she is in danger of losing everything, including her heart.
