Autorenporträt
Margit Zankl wurde 1961 in Wiesfleck im Südburgenland geboren. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann lebt sie in Pinkafeld. Sie war 40 Jahre im öffentlichen Dienst beschäftigt - zuerst als Sekretärin in der Landesberufsschule sowie im Landesjugendheim Altenmarkt, später als Buchhalterin im Krankenhaus Oberwart und als Sekretärin des Pinkafelder Bürgermeisters. Die Liebe zum Kochen war ihr Ausgleich zum Beruf. Als Projekt für ihre Pension, die sie im Juni 2021 antrat, hat sie sich zum Ziel gesetzt, ihre gesammelten Rezepte aufzuschreiben und als Buch herauszugeben. Zu ihren Lieblingsaktivitäten zählen neben dem Kochen das Wandern, Radfahren und Skifahren, aber auch verschiedenste Handarbeiten. Als weitere besondere Fähigkeit nennt sie, zuhören zu können. Die Koch- und Backrezeptesammlung "Frisch auf den Tisch" ist ihre erste Veröffentlichung.
