Autorenporträt
William Lip was born on November 28, 1950, in Antwerp, Belgium. Born into a family that survived the Holocaust, he attended a Jewish school for six years and was active for six years in a Zionist movement. As a pediatrician, his professional and social life involves consultations with Jewish, Muslim, secular, and eco-friendly infants and mothers living within the constraints of religion and so-called liberationist ideologies. Faced with this paradox, he wrote an essay, "Judaism, Cage or Liberation," in which he attempts to analyze the myths and realities of 3,000 years of emancipation and the quest for freedom, as expressed in monotheistic religions Read "Judaism, cage or liberation?
