Bill French is a retired Government employee who now spends his time writing while remaining active in his local church as a Bible teacher for adult classes. Currently, Bill and his wife Donna reside in Saint Petersburg, Florida, where they enjoy spending time with their two grown children and four grandchildren.

Bill expressed his hopes for Glimpses of Canaan Land this way: "I wrote this book to share with others some of the interesting lessons I have learned through the years. It is my purpose as a layman to render some very unique observations from the Bible that not only will inform but inspire the reader. After all, the Holy Bible is Gods written Word and worthy of our daily reading and diligent study."

Although this book is written primarily to Christians to enhance their walk with Christ, these biblical studies will offer non-Christians educational opportunities to learn about Him.
