Produktbeschreibung
Duncan Stormforge, a goblin-hating dwarven fighter, begins his quest after hearing disturbing rumors at the Rusty Anvil tavern about a plague-stricken town under nightly goblin attacks. Investigating, he finds a community paralyzed by fear and disease; however, his efforts to help by gathering healing herbs arouse suspicion from Sir Edrik Brightshield, a human paladin who believes Duncan is connected to the plague's dark origins. After being captured and subjected to a purging ritual by Edrik and his companions Elven mage Lyras Silverquill, half-orc warrior Gorzak Ironmaw, Zara Thornwhisper a human druid of the Verdant Circle and halfling rogue Zevan Quickstep Duncan escapes using a storm giant strength potion and flees into the wilderness, where he's eventually captured by goblins and dragged into a massive underground city beneath the mountains. During his imprisonment, Duncan uncovers a terrifying conspiracy: the goblins serve a malevolent red dragon whose master plan involves spreading the plague to harvest souls and unite all dark creatures into an unstoppable army, ultimately seeking to ascend to godhood. After a daring escape through the goblin city's labyrinthine passages, Duncan fights his way to freedom in a brutal battle, using fallen enemies as weapons and armor, before reuniting with the very adventurers who once held him captive. Together, they warn the king of the impending threat, leading to a desperate quest for an ancient weapon capable of stopping the red dragon before it achieves its divine ambitions, culminating in a climactic battle where the fate of the realm rests on their combined courage, steel, and magic.

About the Author

Jonathan Michael Renfro is a published author currently residing in Clarksville, Tennessee, with deep roots in Kentucky and rich Celtic heritage. Born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and having spent six years in Glasgow, Kentucky, Jonathan brings the authentic voice and perspective of the American South to his writing. His storytelling is enriched by his ancestral connections to Scotland on his father's side and Ireland on his mother's side, drawing from the ancient Celtic traditions of folklore and supernatural tales that have been passed down through generations.

Jonathan has been happily married to his wife Mimi for five years, and together they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters: Snow, age 13, and Biannca, age 3. Family life provides both inspiration and grounding for his literary work, as he balances the joys and challenges of parenthood with his passion for storytelling.

With two published books currently available on Amazon, Jonathan has established himself as an emerging voice in dark fantasy and supernatural fiction. His atmospheric storytelling transports readers to mysterious worlds filled with ancient secrets and shadowy landscapes. Drawing from his Kentucky upbringing and his Scottish and Irish ancestral heritage, Jonathan weaves together the gothic atmosphere of the American South with the mystical traditions of Celtic folklore, creating tales that blur the line between the natural and supernatural.

When he's not crafting tales of forgotten places and hidden mysteries, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the rich cultural heritage of his adopted home in Clarksville, while maintaining strong connections to his Kentucky roots.
