Have you asked yourself "What it takes to grow crops not only for your family's health, their wealth, but also for sustainability"? Have you wondered which plants will give you the biggest, best, and friendly to your wallet harvest? Vaoese Kava (nee: Limutau)-former School of Agriculture, IRETA/USP Secretary turned self-sufficient plantation guru (she likes to think)-has spent the past 15 years testing, growing, and eating her way through her backyard crops and plantations. With the help of the farmers, growers who are also her families & colleagues in Fagaloa, she is now ready and wants to share with you not only her favourite crops grown, but also the knowledge of the Vaa o Fonoti citizens that have wondered the same thing. The book comes after her participation and experiencing her district practicing permaculture farming as they navigate their way through utilising the government grant from the 1-Miliona Project, which was distributed to every district in 2021 - 2025 by the FAST government.
