Tabitha Orr still believes in 'far, far away'. A childhood spent on Florida's beaches serve as inspiration for many of her stories and illustrations. Painted fairy tales are her passion. Her fantastical tales come to life with pencils, watercolors and calligraphy inks. She is the author and illustrator of three children's books. Two of which are translated into Japanese. Stars Have Dreams, an original folk tale about how the Big Dipper and Little Dipper were formed. Wisp is about a spark of light that begins at the very bottom of the ocean. It is a self interpreted fully illustrated book dealing with mental health. Fly, Float, Leap, Swim, Dive, Walk includes pages of illustrated animals that live in or around the ocean. Tabitha is a third generation artist. Her Grandfather and Mother paint in oils. Now her two adult children continue that legacy in their own mediums. The walls of her home are filled with the art of her family. She now lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico on the high desert mesa with her husband, 10 cats and a box turtle.
