Updesh Kumar, Ph.D., Scientist 'G' ® has 30 years of selection, teaching & research experience at Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), DRDO, Delhi. His area of interest includes suicidal behavior, health psychology and military psychology. He has edited twelve volumes including 'The Wiley Handbook of Personality Assessment', 'The Routledge International Handbook of Psychosocial Resilience', 'Springer's Handbook of Suicidal Behaviour' and 'The Routledge Handbook of Military Psychology and Mental Health'.  He was conferred with the prestigious DRDO's 'Scientist of the Year' and 'Popular Science Communication Awards' by the Govt. of India.
