Gary Ruffin is the author of Hot Shot, his first novel starring Detective Sam "Coop" Cooper and set in Gulf Front, Florida. A former guitarist and songwriter for the 1970s rock band Smoke Rise, Ruffin now lives and writes in the Atlanta area.
