Midge Maloney is a mother, wife, and grandmother. She began writing books for her grandchildren a few years ago and that has blossomed into a committed avocation. She loves to rhyme her stories and thus far has almost exclusively written children's books about animals, both domesticated, wild, and farm animals. In the works is a departure from this theme of animals and their kindness with each other. She is writing a story about an space alien who sells flying saucers on the dark side of the moon.

Ever creative, readers should also know that Midge Maloney is an actor and has been in numerous community theater productions. She is also an activist and promotes community events and festivals.
