Nalini holds diplomas in journalism, script-writing, commercial art, and pianoforte, and worked for the Commonwealth Government of Australia from 1986 to 2005. Writers World Queensland and various publications have included her awardwinning short stories and poems in several anthologies. The Society of Women Writers, Victoria, included her short stories and poems in an anthology 'Climb the Mountain.' Nalini was also included in Who's Who of Australian Writers, and is a member of The Australian Writers Guild, Writers Victoria, The Society of Women Writers, Victoria, Peninsula Arts Society, and was President of Authors Australia Inc.
