Hi, I'm C H Elton, and I've been scribbling stories, poems, and half-baked book plots on scraps of paper for as long as I can remember. Most of it has been tucked away in drawers, but over the past few years I've finally started sharing my work with the world.

I spent 35 years working in the U.K. insurance industry, which, among other things, once had me giving 14 radio interviews in a single day, and even doing a live news broadcast from a campsite in Derbyshire about the dangers of overloaded cars. Since retiring, I've swapped policy documents for plot twists, and I couldn't be happier.

When I'm not writing, I'm with my wife, our five children, and three grandchildren, or planning holidays somewhere warm where I can enjoy great local food and drink.

For me, writing is all about connection. I don't mind whether readers love my work or pick it apartas long as it makes them feel something, I know I've done my job.
