Shari Anton is married with 2 grown children, 2 grandsons. Before getting hooked on writing fiction, she worked mostly clerical jobs and earned her Certified Professional Secretary designation in the mid 1980s. She loves to travel, adores slot machines, and rides her own Harley. She's a hopeless volunteer and over the years has been President of a Home/School Association, Girl Scout Leader, Sunday School teacher, Health Room Aide,and baked more cookies and gone on more field trips than she cares to think about. Shari is active in her local RWA Chapter, having served in several offices and coordinated three conferences, which is why they gave her a Service Award a couple of years ago. Her main leisure pastime is still reading, though she enjoys a good movie, cross-stitch and embroidery, and has a decent bowling average.
