Scott Morris is a doctoral candidate at the University of Utah, where he studies the environmental history of the American West. He lives in Lander, Wyoming, with his wife and three dogs. Historic photographs for this book were provided by the Wyoming State Archives, the American Heritage Center at the University of Wyoming, and the Marriott Library at the University of Utah.
