Before moving to WNYC, she produced several shows, including producing and writing for Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion for fourteen years. She is a Grammy Award nominee, an Audie Award winner, and a prize-winning screenwriter. Although born in Iowa and a longtime Minnesotan, she currently lives in Manhattan.
