Gary Williams served four years in the Marine Corps, including one year in Vietnam. Following his discharge, he became a police officer in Florida and served for thirty-six years. Gary married Linda in 1969, and they live in Jacksonville, Florida. They enjoy spending time with family and friends. Gary graduated cum laude from Liberty University with a bachelor of science degree. He is a member of Gideons International.
