Autobiography: Born in Savannah, Georgia, this lady has always been fascinated with the city's history---and probably to the point of obsession. As a child, strolling the uneven cobblestone walks or gazing upon her beautiful mansions, the past came alive; anxious to whisper its secrets. Even today, she cannot pass through one of the squares without pausing beneath those ancient moss-bearded oaks to wonder who might have stood there before; what was said; how they handled the problems in their lives; if they were happy; ... if they deserved to be. Thus began "On The Chin Of A Giant", and its sequel, "On The Foot Of A Mountain", pre-Civil War novels nearly a lifetime in the writing. But a story yearning to be told for eons.
