Guy's employment involved finance in a wide range of activities: the Reserve Bank of Australia (including personal assistant to the Governor), commercial and investment banks in economics and foreign exchange, as treasurer of large companies in Australia and New Zealand, an independent financial consultant to major Australian corporations and in financial regulation at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. He authored the university textbook Floating Down Under: Foreign Exchange in Australia in 1986.His academic qualifications include a BA in economics (Macquarie University), MCom (University of New South Wales), LLM (JD) (Monash University) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (College of Law, Melbourne).Reflecting his longstanding interest in early Christianity, he gained an MA in Early Christian and Jewish Studies from Macquarie University in 2000. Now retired from active employment, he has more time to undertake research and writing on biblical themes. He has authored Gender Wars in Christianity; The Letter of Jude: A wake-Up Call to Christians in the Twenty-First Century; and The People in Paul's Letters: A Compendium of Characters. He is writing to encourage Christians in the modern church to promote biblical principles in a world where the gospel of Jesus Christ is being marginalised.Guy lives in Curlewis on the Bellarine Peninsula, Australia with his wife, Bernice, where they attend a local church. They have three adult children. His interests include history, theology and economics. He is a keen fan of Australian Rules Football and US college basketball.
