Stacey is a former school librarian and holds a certificate from the Institute of Children's Literature. She also holds a degree in Spanish and has lived in Latin America. Stacey is a member of the SCBWI and an advocate of diversity in reading. She is a community service volunteer mentoring women and girls of diverse backgrounds for over 25 years. Her expressive outlet has been writing since the age of 7, but she has recently ventured into publishing her works publicly. Her faith keeps her balanced and full of deep purpose. Stacey lives happily in California with her husband and they both enjoy traveling internationally.
