Autorenporträt
Pierre Deymier is a pioneer in the field of phononics and acoustic metamaterials as well as the broad area of materials theory, modelling and simulation. He is the editor of two recent Springer books on "Acoustic Metamaterials and Phononic Crystals" and "Multiscale Paradigms in Integrated Computational Materials Science and Engineering." He is the author or co-author or more than 200 publications in the fields of phononics, computational materials science and engineering, biomedical engineering and nanotechnology.

Keith Runge is a theoretical and computational physicist with extensive experience in modelling of non-linear systems. He has published over 70 refereed journal articles. His research interests include computational chemistry, theoretical materials science, quantum physics as well as biophysics. He is the co-editor of the Springer book entitled "Multiscale Paradigms in Integrated Computational Materials Science and Engineering."
