Autorenporträt
Chuck Brooks grew up in the "hood" of Baltimore City and came to know Christ at the age of eighteen. You can listen to the story of how he and his wife, Debbie, came to know and follow Jesus Christ on a radio program called Unshackled through a simple internet search.

He and his wife homeschooled most of their eight children over a period of thirty years. During this time, he also planted and pastored a church. Chuck has an AA in biomedical electronics technology, BS in computer science and information systems, and MA in Christian studies. He also serves as a field partner with the Christian Business Men's Connection (CBMC).

Chuck and Debbie have been married for almost 45 years, have eight children, 21 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. They attend a church plant of John MacArthur's The Master's Seminary called Baltimore Bible Church (BBC). At BBC, Chuck serves in shepherding seniors, the disabled, and the shut-in members of his church family. You can find more of Chuck's writing on his blog at www.pastorchuckbrooks.com.

This eBook is based on a compilation of sermon messages that Chuck preached while a pastor of a church he planted in Baltimore, Maryland. Chuck grew up in a home where there was much dysfunction; his mom was married three times. There was little to no example of what a godly marriage and home looked like. Upon becoming a follower of Jesus Christ, God placed in Chuck and Debbie's heart a desire to "bring about a restoration of the biblical family". This book is a product of that desire.
