Laura E. Pirott received training in nutrition and holistic health counseling from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She is a professor of modern languages and currently teaches at the City University of New York. She loves to practice yoga, Tae Kwon Do, and to eat-of course! R. W. Alley is the illustrator for the popular Abbey Press adult series of Elf-help books, as well as an illustrator and writer of children's books.
