Texonomics is not just another economics textbook. It's a revolution in perspective. Produktbeschreibung
Texonomics is not just another economics textbook. It's a revolution in perspective. Written from within the walls of incarceration at the Fremont Correctional Facility in Canon City, Colorado, but aimed at the hearts and minds of free thinkers everywhere, this book fuses rigorous economic theory with lived experience, unapologetic truth, and the pulse of real people struggling-and thriving-on the margins.

Across thirteen powerfully structured chapters, Texonomics delivers a full-spectrum education in both micro and macroeconomics. From supply and demand to monetary policy, labor markets to globalization, it tackles every core concept with clarity, edge, and humanity. But where other textbooks stop at models and graphs, Texonomics presses deeper-bringing in moral questions, racial and class disparities, and the high-stakes consequences of policy decisions on the incarcerated, the working poor, and the underserved.

You'll find no ivory tower detachment here. Every chapter includes:

  • Legacy Builder Profiles highlighting unsung Black economic trailblazers and freedom fighters.
  • Real-World Application Boxes linking concepts to street corners, prison cells, and grassroots movements.
  • From the Cellblock to the Classroom reflections, where incarcerated scholars connect economic lessons to life inside.
  • Tex Talks, bold and poetic monologues that challenge readers to think critically, act justly, and lead courageously.

With a lyrical voice that oscillates between professor and prophet, Texonomics is both a learning tool and a call to action. It's built for students, incarcerated learners, change agents, and anyone determined to understand how systems of money, power, and policy really work.

Whether you're in a college classroom, a reentry program, a prison GED course, or a political campaign war room, this book will push you, teach you, and equip you-not just to pass a test, but to change the game.
