Dr. Woodbury is a retired pastor and exegete who focuses on the practicality of God's Word and how believers could apply Biblical teachings to the world around us. Here, the Holy Spirit builds in us maturity, faithfulness and obedience so that we might be God's loving representatives in this world. Joe also writes exegetical books, which include the breaking down of scriptures from their original languages while employing the eight rules of interpretation as found in Hermeneutics methodology. The prayerful intention is to provide true and honest explanations that honor God's inspired Word and help Christians better understand just what God is saying to us.

Joe married his best friend 35 years ago and he and Karin have six children and one grandchild. They left civilization when they retired in 2023 and moved to the Canadian border. Although they love it there, they still spend time answering the question, "Why?"
