Sami G. Hajjar is a Lebanese American retired political science professor and former U.S. Foreign Service Officer. He is a graduate of the American University of Beirut with B.A. and M.A. degrees in public administration, and the University of Missouri where he obtained his Ph.D. in political science. His foreign service career included postings in the Arabian/Persian Gulf region as Cultural and Public Affairs Officer, and as Desk Officer in Washington, DC.
As an academic, he taught at the University of Wyoming, and later at the U.S. Army War College where he was Professor and Director of Middle East Studies. His publications included numerous articles and studies published in professional academic journals. This book is his first work of fiction which he completed at the age of eighty five. He lives in Peyton, Colorado, USA.
