For his plan to work Daquan makes secret alliances with various elements of the drug trade to get his own crew and take over Hunts Point. It's a tall order and there are a whole lot of obstacles for Daquan to overcome. There is the past with his mothers tragic disappearance, and the distraction of juggling two women. There is Romereo Denareo, a crooked cop with political ambitions, who is skilled at shaking people down, and has a hard on for his partners wife. Top of the list is Anthony Madd Dogg Rachet, who has a reputation for doing what ever it takes to hold power over his Harlem empire, murder, extortion, torture, and allegedly feeding victims to his dogs. Once China used to be his, and the last thing Rachet wants is to see her come up after he spent so much effort to break her down.
Can Daquan overcome and prove that age ain't nothing but a number? Here is a well written tale where plot and back story are woven so seamlessly that you realize that this is more than just another of gritty urban fiction.

This was the first novel I completed, and I completed it while doing a ten year bid in the New York State Correctional Prison Systems.Starting from Rikers Island minimum prison system I spent nine years going from one maximum prison to another. It was a personal tour of Up State New York. Within those confined walls, I met quite a few criminal minds and heard a lot of war stories, so I had access to quite a lot of resource material, I also had friends in the law libraries so that I could authenticate and filter the lies from the truth.Most of this fiction is rooted in truth, although I took writers liberties to change things around and create characters from those existing truths. My education is not rooted in academics, I am an artist and designer by default, writing is just something I have always done, something I have always loved to do.
